Post Industrial Recycled (PIR) scrap is purchased from two main sources.  Trim scrap generated by customers purchasing rigid sheet from Clear Lam’s forming films division and regrind purchased predominately from industrial bottle preforms.

Rigid sheet is sold by Clear Lam to other thermoforming companies. Clear Lam purchases back the scrap that is generated by the other companies that use Clear Lam materials.
